Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any special equipment?

No. You access your server through a VPN app and remote desktop — both work on any Windows or Mac computer. We provide the VPN configuration.

Can I access my server from home?

Yes. The VPN works from anywhere with an internet connection — office, home, hotel, job site.

What happens if the server goes down?

We monitor it continuously. If an issue is detected, we're alerted immediately and begin troubleshooting. If the server can't be recovered, we restore from the most recent backup.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Storage is encrypted at rest, all connections are encrypted in transit, and backups are stored separately with their own encryption.

Can I upgrade the server later?

Yes. If you need more processing power, memory, or storage, we can resize the server with minimal downtime. Contact us for details.

What if I want to cancel?

The service is billed annually. You can choose not to renew at the end of your service year. We'll provide your data and assist with any transition.

What's Not Included

Application software licenses (Niagara, Compass, etc.) are purchased separately from the software vendor. Custom software development is not included.
